Very surprised nobody has commented on these. 3.5in slots are now coming with nvme / sata connectors and so it makes sense to want to be able to plug 2 e1.s drives in here. 3.5in drives aren't going anywhere and if anything with Venice bringing pcie gen6, making use of those 3.5 in slots flexibly makes a lot of sense.

I would imagine for some enterprise customers that this option would be very compelling compared to the rear-pcie slot concept product mostly because of airflow as these enclosures would be at the front with cooler air compared to potentially getting exhaust from the CPU in a HCI setting.

Yep, making drives swappable is our motto!

I saw on another of your concepts that release was talked about in 2026 q1. We are currently past that, so do you have new information regarding a potential release date?

Yes you are right! This product has been delayed to release. Current estimated release date is around end of July 2026. It is in the final testing stage. We want to solve all the issues before we release the perfect product to everyone :)
